A wooden armchair in mustard colour most llikely from the sixties. The support frame is made of solid wood, it supports shell shaped seat. Shell armchairs are connected with the Brussels style, the period of the Czechoslovakian design that was named after the success of the Czech pavilion at Expo 1958. Thanks to the very firm reinforcement of the shell shaped seat the supporting wooden frame can be very subtle. The armchair is comfortably upholstered and covered by coarse fabric in mustard colour. It is in a very good condition for its age, the original upholstery is not teared, only the fabric on the armrests has worn spots.
