This unique wooden armchair upholstered with genuine leather was probably designed in eighties by a Czech interior designer Zbyněk Hřivnáč. One of his most known projects was the interior of Hotel Praha. The interior of the headquarters of Water Constructions Prague was one of the last complex projects that Zbyněk Hřívnáč designed, in that period of eighties a certain simplicity and use elementary forms are visible in his work. A robust wooden frame supports a seat upholstered with genuine leather that is divided into sections for better comfort. A very similar armchair was designed by Zbyněk Hřivnáč a few years earlier for the Bulgarian embassy in Prague which was together with Water Constructions one of his latest large-scale projects. The armchair is in its original condition with minimal wear and tear visible in the photographs.
