This unique wooden armchair upholstered with genuine leather was probably designed in eighties by a Czech interior designer Zbyněk Hřivnáč. The armchair was made for the building of the headquarters of Water Constructions Prague that was designed by an architect Karel Filsak and its interiors were designed by Zbyněk Hřivnáč. One of his most known projects was the interior of Hotel Praha. The interior of the headquarters of Water Constructions Prague was one of the last complex projects that Zbyněk Hřívnáč designed, in that period of eighties a certain simplicity and elementary forms are visible in his work. Although having quite massive wooden frame the armchair has an elegant appearance due to a high back with vertical division. The armchair is in its original condition with minimal wear and tear visible in the photographs.
