A Ben armchair, designed in the eighties by the French designer Pierre Paulin for the Dutch company Artifort. This is one of the last designs made by the author, who has worked with this company since the fifties and designed several iconic pieces of furniture, which are now in the collections of design museums. Artifort cooperated with world-known designers, such as Kho Liang Ie or Geoffrey Harcourt. Paulin's designs are referred to as "seat sculptures," because of their unorthodox biomorphic design, which corresponded with the Atomic Age culminating in the sixties and seventies. The chair is in an excellent original condition, without any damage.
We will reupholster the armchair for a discounted price of 251 Eur + the price of the upholstery fabric (you can choose in our studio).
