A ceramic figurine of a bear. Similar figurines of animals with simplified features became popular after their success at the exhibition Expo 1958 in Brussels, Jaroslav Ježek or Jitka Forejtová were two of the successful designers of these objects. Unfortunately in this case we do not know the name of the author. The figurine is made of ceramics, glazed with dark colour and light details. The figurine was very likely made in one of the Czechoslovak national enterprises that were engaged in the production of these animal objects, such as Keramo or Jihokera. The statuette is in an excellent condition, without damage, numbered at the bottom side.
