A glass table lamp from the sixties designed in Brussel style, a period in the Czech design that came with the successful EXPO exhibition in 1958, typically it has airy and playful yet simple design with bright pastel colours. The rotatory shape of the lamp reminds of the chess lamp designs of the Czech designer Ivan Jakeš and refers to the sixties' Space age. The lamp is made of two parts, a white base that hides the body of the lamp and a upper part in pale green colour typical for Brussels style. When turned on the upper part is lit through and creates pleasantly distributed light. The lamp is left in its original condition, fully functional without any damage.
