A leather gymnastic bench, which originally served as a gym table and was modified by lowering the wooden legs. Most gymnastic equipment as we know it today was developed by the German "father of gymnastics" Friedrich Ludwig Jahn. The wooden construction is made of hard oak wood, the bench seat has a hard textile filling, which is upholstered with leather in a dark brown shade. The bench has undergone a partial renovation, it is in a good condition, with some surface damage on the upholstery and wooden structure. It can serve as a functional sports tool just as a distinctive element of the interior.
