An original wooden sculpture called Portrét dívky (A Portrait of a Girl). The sculpture is designed and manufactured by a Czech designer Antonín Hepnar who is known as a master of wood turning technique. Antonín Hepnar, who is mainly known for his characteristic lamps, makes only a limited number of pieces for every of his designs, allegedly five. The rotating profile of a girl's face is painted red and by removing parts of it, the section through the material is revealed. The portrait of a girl is obvious only from certain angle. Antonín Hepnar traditionally works with firm wood of foliose trees.
