A metal ashtray manufactured by a company Sandrik. History of Sandrik goes back to middle of the eighteen century when ancestors of Dutch aristocrats founded a mining union called Gerambovská báňská unie. They took a rose bloom for their symbol that later became the rose of the company Sandrik. The Sandrik was established by Gerambovská báňská unie in 1895 in Dolné Hamre in today's Slovakia as a factory for processing precious metals, especially silver. Sandrik is best known for producing cutlery, later in cooperation with Berndorf. The condition of the ashtray is visible in the photographs.
