Ceramic figurine of a barn owl. Similar figurines of animals with simplified features became popular after their success at the exhibition Expo 1958 in Brussels, Jaroslav Ježek or Jitka Forejtová were two of successful designers of these objects. Unfortunatelly in this case we are not aware of the name of the author. The owl is made of ceramics, with colourfully glazed body parts. The object is in an excellent condition, without any visible damage.
