A wooden chair designed by the Czech designer Antonín Šuman for the company Tatra. Antonín Šuman designed this chair in the sixties and it became his most successful design that was produced in many versions and models. The chair was made using the bent wood technology. The bent plywood used for the back rest of the chair has great firmness yet a very slender thickness. The high cut opening of the back rest is significant for this chair, differentiating it from the rest of the similar models. The legs are made of the solid wood, the seat is upholstered with red curdoroy fabric with a subtle pattern. The chair is in an very good condition.
