A wooden chair designed by the Czech designer Antonín Šuman for the national enterprise Tatra. Antonín Šuman designed this chair in the sixties and it became his most successful design, produced in many versions and models. A similar chair was designed by Oswald Haerdtl for the Czechoslovak company TON. The chair was made using the bent wood technology. The beech bent plywood used for the backrest of the chair has great firmness yet a very slender thickness. The seat is upholstered with gray velvet fabric. The chair is in an excellent condition, it underwent a total renovation.
