Nanovo begins to produce the U450 cabinets by Jiri Jiroutek

We're over the moon and super grateful for it! Last Wednesday marks a special day in Nanovo's history: we signed a contract with Jiří Jiroutek and thus became the only manufacturer of several types of cabinets designed by Jiroutek for Interier Praha during 1950s. Let's start with the U453 cabinet, which should be available until the end of 2018.

Jiří Jiroutek was again an amazing companion. His stories about his work with Swedish IKEA or about his deals with international furniture barons never get old. Through his vitality, stunning memories and gentlemanhood he reminds us of Mr. Miroslav Zikmund.

During all our meetings we thought that it's a shame that his memories are nowhere recorded or written - hence we got the idea to do a larger interview with Mr. Jiroutek.

This marks the beginning of our new line of furniture, fixtures and accessories that we'll manufacture according to original Czechoslovak designs from the second half of 20th century.
