Red Table Lamp, design Štěpán Tabery
Code: 2509009Product detailed description
A glass table lamp by Štěpán Tabery, produced in the 1970s by OPP Jihlava. The lamp was designed in the context of the Space Age style, which brought rounded futuristic lines to the aesthetics of applied design. The lampshade, which conceals all the mechanics, is made of red opal glass with a glossy surface. When lit, the lampshade creates an interesting effect, with the upper sphere illuminated by orange light, while the base keeps a rich red tone. The lamp is fully functional and lights up with a single E27 bulb. It is in excellent original condition, only the lower metal base has been repainted in a matte yellow color. There are two small scratches around the upper rim.
We have two red lamps on offer, one is deep red, the other has a slight orange tint. When ordering, please write in the note which lamp you would prefer.
