This spectacular hanging chandelier was designed in the 1970s by Jaroslav Bejvl for the Kamenický Šenov factory. The town has a long tradition of glass and chandelier production dating back to the end of the 17th century.
The chandelier consists of a robust golden brass framework. From its spherical base grow forty thin gold bars, each topped with a flared bulb socket.
The chandelier has been fully restored and fitted with new wiring and forty dimmable LED bulbs made of milk glass with an E27 fitting and of warm white light, which create a pleasant, diffused glow. Thanks to the dimmability, the intensity of the light can be altered. The length of the hanging rod can be adjusted upon agreement.
