A glass chandelier in Brussels style designed in the 1970s by Miroslav Čermák for the Kamenický Šenov glassworks, one of the oldest glassworks in the Czech Republic. Kamenický Šenov has a rich history of glass production since the 17th century and in the 19th century the first glassworks was built here, which led to a boom in chandelier production. The glassworks still specialises in the production of luxury glass and chandeliers.
This chandelier has a chrome-plated steel structure with five organically shaped globes made of clear glass which give the chandelier a unique and elegant look. The lamp is lit by five E27 bulbs.
The chrome plating has small scuffs in some places, otherwise the lamp is in perfect original condition.
