A pendant light most likely made in the 1970s by the company Osvětlovací sklo Valašské Meziříčí. The fluid revolving shape shows influence of Space Age, the tendency in design that reflected the popular themes of the time: space travel and arrival of new technologies.
Many new round shaped designs made of new materials emerged and in Czechoslovakia the Space Age was interlaced with local Brussels Style. The lamp shade is made of multilayered opal glass with matte finish that creates pleasantly distributed light. It hangs from a chrome-plated metal rod.
The pendant is in excellent, fully functional condition and lights up with one E27 bulb.
