Woven wool Kelim carpet with geometric patterns in earthy tones from the 1960s. Kelim carpets (sometimes also called kilims) are flat-woven carpets that originate from the traditions of nomadic peoples; however, they became very popular in the 20th century and began to be produced industrially as well. The carpet is rectangular in shape and finished with fringes. It is in good original condition. There is a visible stain in one spot, and the fringes do not have full length in some places. The carpet has been thoroughly cleaned, not chemically.
