This table lamp called "Sensorette" was made in the 1970s by the German company Insta GmbH. The lamp is inspired by the Arteluce 540 lamp, designed in 1968 by the famous Italian designer Gino Sarfatti for the Arteluce brand.
Like its predecessor, this model is designed in the then popular Space Age style, which was intended to evoke a kind of future aesthetic.
The lamp is made up of a transparent Plexiglas structure and an adjustable shade made of chrome-plated steel and plastic. The lamp is lit by a single E14 bulb and is in great original condition.
