This unique wooden lamp was designed by Stanislav Kučera in the 1970s and manufactured by ÚLUV. The Ústředí lidové umělecké výroby company was founded in 1948 by the association of several brands, including the famous Krásná jizba. The Prague-based company had a manufactory in the Uherské Hradiště city and a company store in a house on the Palackého Square, which operated until the mid-1990s.
The lampshade is made of dried straw and the solid maple leg is decorated with a brass pattern.
The lamp is in great original condition. It is lit by one E27 bulb.
