Leather armchair IKEA
Code: 2504003Product detailed description
This timeless and very comfortable dark brown leather armchair "Borkum" was designed by Johan Bertil Häggström for the Swedish furniture company IKEA in 1978.
The tubular structure made of bent chrome-plated steel doubles as the legs, back and armrests of the armchair and is a hallmark of Bauhaus-inspired design. The seat and backrest of the chair are suspended from this structure, creating a light and airy character to the armchair, and are compactly upholstered in soft quilted leather with buttons, giving it a one-piece feel.
The armchair is in very good original condition, any signs of wear are visible in the detailed photographs.
