The famous Mademoiselle armchair was designed in 1956 by Finnish designer Ilmari Tapiovaara for the Artek brand. The Finnish brand was founded in 1935 by Alvar and Aino Aalto and embodies the timelessness of Scandinavian design and first-class craftsmanship. The armchair easily adapts to different types of interiors, yet still remains a distinctive element.
It is made of solid birch wood and its functionality has been proven over decades. It has a comfortable wide seat and a radial back with a pleasant seating angle.
The chair is in great condition and has undergone a complete renovation in our workshop with a matte synthetic finish.
