Sputnik Kamenický Šenov Chandelier
Code: 2510007Product detailed description
Chandelier called "Sputnik" designed by Jaroslav Bejvl in the 1970s. The original glass globes were produced by Kamenický Šenov, while the metal parts were produced by Drupol. The chandelier exists in several variations, which differ in the number and length of the arms or the materials used. The chandelier’s shape is inspired by space objects, primarily the Sputnik 1 satellite. Twelve arms of polished lacquered brass radiate from the central spherical base, complemented with 250V/40W bulbs with E14 sockets covered by milk glass lenses. The chandelier is fully functional and in great condition after a complete renovation in our workshop. The brass has minor patina visible in the photographs.
