Wooden newspaper rack made by ÚLUV in the 1960s. ÚLUV was founded in 1948 with the merger of several different brands, including the well-known modern design shop Krásná jizba, which had operated a showroom in Prague where it also hosted exhibitions and cultural events. ÚLUV focused on sales of popular and artistic crafts made from natural materials. This newspaper rack is made from cherry wood with a light finish. It is in good condition, with only a few light scratches, which can be seen in the photos.
