Tapestry with deer
Code: 2401011Product detailed description
Tapestry "LESA KRÁL" made by František Šlegl and Milada Hynková in the Aradecor factory. The tapestry depicts a deer in heat.
The technology of tapestry production was developed in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s, known as "artprotis" and "aradecor", and the two types differ in the way the textile fibre is fixed. The Arachné machine was used to interlace the fibres and can still be found in Kdyně, where Milada Hynková has her studio.
