The functionalist pendant type 970, known as "UFO", was designed in the 1950s by Vladimír Havla for the Krásná Jizba company. The company operated in Czechoslovakia between 1922 and 1957 and was initially mainly a publishing house. Later, it began to sell design products from designers, manufacturers, and distributors of handmade arts and crafts, applied arts, and modern design. The pendant has a metal shade with an opening filled with hand-etched glass with ice flowers. It is a rarer black lacquered version of the pendant. It is fully functional and in very good original condition. In places, the metal and black lacquer are slightly scratched, as can be seen in the photos. The pendant lights up with six E27 bulbs.
