A wooden train on a string consisting of a locomotive and two carriages connected by hooks. The train carries a load of different shapes and colours, which can be freely stacked on the wooden rods on the carriages.
The train comes from the workshop of TOFA, a national company in Semily, which was one of the most important Czechoslovak manufacturers of wooden and paper toys and board games. The name comes from the compound of the words TO and FA, from the English toys factory. Their products included wooden figurines, wooden beads and other jewellery.
The entire set is made of varnished solid beech wood and is in great original condition.
