Halabala was the head designer for UP Závody from 1925 to 1955. His furniture features characteristic rounded contours and a clean functionalist style. The chair’s backrest is covered with a walnut veneer, and the seat is upholstered with a velvet fabric in a floral pattern. The chair is in excellent original condition, with only minor scratches.
