Product detailed description

This chandelier was manufactured by the glass factory Osvětlovací sklo in Valašské Meziříčí, the Czech Republic in the seventies. The glassworks in Valašské Meziříčí belonged to a company S. Reich & Co, once the largest producer of illuminating glass in Austria-Hungary. The chandelier has a glass shade made of opaque glass in matte finish. The shape of the lampshade corresponds to the futuristic tendencies of the seventies that were influenced by the Space Age era. The chandelier is hung on a metal rod of silver, it is fully functional, in an excellent original condition.

This chandelier is identical to chandelier number 2104022A in our collection, except that it is suspended from a longer rod and has a dark grey cap on the metal suspension.
