Product detailed description
This chest of drawers is after complete renovation in our workshop, but it does not meet all the requirements that we traditionally have for our renovated chests of drawers, so we offer it at a reduced price.
The veneer on the left side is slightly swollen with moisture, the chest of drawers has a visibly lighter right side and the top has minor scratchings and stains.
The chest of drawers is part of the famous Universal series (U-450) designed in 1958 by Jiří Jiroutek for the Czechoslovak national company Interiér Praha.
Soon after its launch, this line of furniture in the popular Brussels style became a bestseller. It was produced for the next twenty years and several million cabinets were sold. Interest in the famous U-450 line has not waned, on the contrary, it is very popular with all generations at home and abroad.
The U-460 is suitable for any room. It is compact and relatively light, making it easy to handle. It is divided into a storage section with a lengthwise shelf and a section with four drawers. The cabinet has a veneered (oak) surface and a solid wood base. We have consulted Jiří Jiroutek, from whom we also have the exclusive right to renew the production of the entire U-450 series from 2018.
The furniture is delivered in a highly durable wooden box, so you don't have to worry about the quality of transport.
Photos are for illustration only, the cabinet you order may differ slightly from the photographs, for example in colour or veneer pattern. You can see how we renovate old furniture in our time-lapse video.
